Ya, losing your significant other because you can’t bring yourself to sleep with them is awesome. Having to turn down dates so you don’t have to explain yourself to them is awesome too. It makes my life so much easier knowing I will never be able to be part of such an important part of the average relationship. My life is clearly so much easier then yours. Period.
There are more asexuals in the United States than there are people in San Francisco, Boston, Denver, Miami and Pittsburgh combined.
You exist and you’re not alone.
It’s strange. I’m totally okay with my sexuality, but every once in a while, I get a major forever alone feeling. I know that 1% of people are ace. That’s one in a hundred. Thats quite a lot of people in the city of 1 million I live in. But I still feel really alone. (I know I don’t NEED to be with another ace, but it certainly makes life easier for me)
And then I see things like this. And I smile. And I cry. Because we’re not alone :D
It will go with the End Homophobic Violence band on my arm ^.^
